'Fishing in just about every direction': Ed’s Fly Shop celebrates 15 years in business

A cold front's a -comin'

Earlier this week, despite all my adventurous hobbies, I had to face the realization that I'm not remotely hardcore.

I had big plans to ride in Crested Butte and ice climb the weekend away, and those came to a screeching halt because of TikTok, of all things.

While scrolling as one does, I came across a Denver meteorologist talking about polar conditions coming to the Front Range, and decided to check the weather report.

Sure enough, the temperatures in the mountains around here were projected to be single digits, at least as of a few days ago.

For me, because I'm a baby I guess, that absolutely means there will be no snowboarding, lots of baking and some warm hot coco.

But, there are braver people than me out there, so enjoy your crazy weekends. And, if you haven't looked at the forcast yet, definitely check it out and plan accordingly before you head to the mountains this weekend. I'm crossing my fingers for y'all that it's changed.

Cheers,
Kylea from the newsroom
