Hey there, Montrose! Justin here in the newsroom enjoying this springlike weather as we move into the middle of February

From the Newsroom: If you didn't see staff writer Anna Lynn Winfrey's column last week, give it a read. She talked about our coverage of a police response at Montrose High School last week, after someone reporting to be a parent said their child had brought a gun to school.

Breaking news sometimes happens quickly, and we have to do our best to respond and bring you the latest.

Side note: Anna Lynn also reported how students in crisis get help at the school. It's worth a read.

Murder in Paonia: Murders don't happen too often in our neck of the woods, so it's shocking when we hear about them. Sheriff's deputies are now investigating who killed Michael Arnold and Donna Gallegos.
