Taking the 'Ride' out of Telluride: Resort closure, Patrol lockout continue, but Telski plans limited Monday reopening

Telluride Ski and Golf announced on social media Saturday morning (Jan 3) that the resort will open Lift 1 (Chondola) and the Meadows and Vista Carpet Monday, serving exclusively beginner terrain. According to a Dec. 29 press release, the resort resumed snowmaking this week thanks to the recent cold weather and is planning to reopen Lift 4 (Village Express) as soon as possible.
The Ski Patrol strike continues, and union President Graham Hoffman confirmed the mountain will reopen with non-union patrollers.
