New year, new businesses

Montrose is bustling

Montrose has so many small businesses that make the community a great place to eat, workout and hang out.

Getting to know the owners and share the stories of these places is one of my favorite parts of the job. And, lately, there's been so much business news it's been hard to keep up.

This week I talked to two new business owners downtown: Tegan Soderlind of Crossfit Alpenglow, whose workout I am still sore from, and Andrew Beard, a nurse practitioner whose direct primary care practice is opening soon.

We'll have their stories in upcoming business sections, and thee's more to come as plenty of new storefronts are popping up around Montrose.

Cheers,

Kylea from the newsroom
