MHS boys dive into Southwestern League play following trio of wins

One of the biggest worries for a basketball team can be going into winter break playing very well. It's a good way for a lot of rhythm and momentum to get slowed down.

The Montrose boys basketball team opted to stay sharp as it came out of break with fresh legs. The Red Hawks beat Basalt 62-26, then took an overnight road trip to the Sangre de Cristo mountain range where they beat Alamosa 59-41 and Centauri 50-30.

Now they dive into Southwestern League play with a lot of momentum on their side and are looking forward to leaning into their strengths and keep winning games.
