My blog will allow everyone to know what all the body care companies are doing to us. What I mean by this is that you can learn what is in your body care products and what it does to your body. Is the cheap price or status of having these things worth the risk of ruining your health. I know a product line that does not carry any of the harmful or hazardous ingredients if you are interested comment and I'll email you more information.

Dermatologist Recommended, Approved, and Tested
When you think of these labels on our products you instantly think that they must be good for you. Well you’re wrong the only one out of all of these that is any good is dermatologist tested. All of these have a meaning that implies something good. Dermatologist recommended is when a company such as suave or dove takes their product into a dermatologists office and ask them to pass it out to their patience’s without knowing what is in it or if it even works. Dermatologist approved is when a company takes their product to a dermatologist and asks them to try it and see if they like it, without knowing anything about it, if they do then it gets the label Dermatologist Approved. Now on to the last one dermatologist tested this is a blind study done on the product by the dermatologist to see what is in the product and if it works.

Mineral Oil!
When we think of the words mineral oil the first thing that comes to mind is something that is good for you, because of the word mineral. This is actually not true it is not good for us at all and what is sad is that it is one of the most used ingredient in the U.S. Mineral oil is an occlusive oil which can interfere with skin functions as well as advanced delivery systems. This is also a petro-chemical pollutant. These companies are poisoning us without us even knowing it. That is why I am here telling as many people as I can I want to bring awareness to this. Now back to what I was saying, a petro-chemical pollutant is the same thing as petroleum which is the equivalent of Vaseline. Why is this so bad you ask? Well what this stuff does to us is it creates a barrier on our skin that does not allow our skin to function properly. The skin is designed to let in the good toxins and let out the bad toxins. Now think about it if we put a barrier on our skin what do you think this does? We as people get rid of in a day about 4lbs of toxins, if we cannot release them it can make you ill. At times you can get nauseous, develop cold symptoms, feel tired, and alter your hormones and much more. Did you know that when petrolatum is manufactured there is actually a warning to the factory workers telling them to make sure to avoid contact with skin, to prevent brain, liver and kidney abnormalities? It is also like gasoline seven times refined. It is the main ingredient in anti-freeze. Imagine having a bottle of anti-freeze in your shower next to you hair and body care stuff, because mineral oil is in almost everything. I give you a challenge go to Wal-mart, Target, Kmart where ever and pick up any of the bottles of lotion, hair care, body care, or even your CHILDRENS care products and see if you can find one that does not have the words Mineral Oil, PEG, PPG, PG, Petrolatum, or Petroleum all of these are petro-chemical pollutants because they are all petroleum based. If you can find an item that does not have it tell me and I will look it up and go through to see if I may be able to tell you if it is a product safe to use.
