Happy Hump Day!

We're another day closer to Christmas and stores are jam-packed with last minute shoppers. If you're still looking for a quick but meaningful gift, consider a DIY in your gifting ventures!

Here's some cool ideas for making an old or thrifted vinyl record more artsy or functional.

Have some merry holidays this weekend, I'll see you all next year!

American Pie's Don McLean is coming to Grand Junction: I had the coolest opportunity of my career so far when I got to chat with THE Don McLean over the phone last Friday!

The singer is gearing up for his 50th anniversary tour for the cultural cornerstone song, "American Pie." Keep an eye out for the full story tomorrow!

You can purchase tickets to the July 8 show at the Avalon Theater on Don's website.

In-home caregivers can receive more support now: tax-exempt status as a 501-3c. The status underscores the foundations' credibility and ability to raise funds.
CSF provides support for individuals who act as caregivers for their loved ones suffering from brain failure conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. The foundation was founded by Laird Landon and Glen Hinshaw (pictured above).

Hinshaw sadly passed a few weeks ago from Dementia, but not before helping establish the nonprofit.

Hinshaw's and Landon's story is inspiring and hopeful, I recommend reading the full story here! You can donate to the foundation on their website.

You can also donate to the event at the charity's GoFundMe. You can check out the event on Facebook here.
