Housing struggles hitting everyone

I've got housing worries; you've got housing worries — they've got housing worries.

The "they" in this case are the county's largest employers, who struggle with recruiting and retaining employees in part due to the housing shortage. Kylea Henseler took a detailed look at the issue and if you've not seen it yet, take a peek.

On the lighter side ... Don't miss the Black Canyon Quilt Show this weekend! Stitchers from three quilt guilds/groups are showing off a whole lot of talent at the Montrose Pavilion, July 14 - 16. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, then 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday.

Here's a beautiful quilt you can win in this year's raffle, an original pattern by Gale Smith, called Dresden Dahlia. Info at blackcanyonquiltshow.com.
