A new whiskey only available in Cali...cool
If you've followed our reporting on the Colorado Outdoors campus, you know Shelter Distilling just broke ground on a massive facility set to open next year.

What you may not know, because I didn't until Monday, is that you won't have to wait that long to try their drinks composed of American-made spirits and ingredients like bitters and syrups made in house.

Last week we got a press release from Shelter about a new whiskey that looks great- and found out it's only available in California. Awesome.

Or, their email said, at the new Montrose airport location if there's any left by the time the bar opens, which could be as soon as August.

So, in a very roundabout way we found out the airport is getting a bar, and it will be Shelter, and the menu will have around 40 cocktails, beers and wines and some to-go food.

To learn more check out our latest article on it. I for one know this will make the very short wait times I already deal with at MTJ a little nicer. And on a different note, I hope this expansion brings more carriers and lower prices, but maybe a girl can only dream.

Cheers,
