Blink and ya miss it Growing up in Rhode Island, we were always blessed with weeks of beautiful foliage. Truly, it felt like the colors changed for an entire season, slowly fading from green to yellow to red and orange over the course of maybe a month or more. New Hampshire in September, 2020 Of course, Colorado has its own grandeur, complete with stunning peaks and alpine lakes in the background. But, it's over a lot faster. Just a few weeks ago I was rock climbing in Ophir surrounded by mostly green trees. This weekend, maybe 14 days later, I was in Telluride just past peak- it really is that fast. But, it's really something t behold, and I hope everyone gets to spend however long we have left to leaf peep making the most of it. Cheers, Kylea, from the newsroom |
