Sure sign of spring

OK, since I've said it, I'm sure we can expect some more snow! Or wind. But regardless, one mark of spring in Montrose has been consistent for more than 75 years: The Star Drive-in opened this past Friday, treating us to the big screen, al fresco, and plenty of the best concessions in town.

Community treasure Pam Friend and crew are running the drive-in, now in its 76th year, and one of the few remaining drive-ins in the state. Thanks, Pam! We love the movies.

— Sunny or snowy, enjoy your spring! Katharhynn, from the Newsroom.
