HAPPY THANKSGIVING: Gobble, gobble! It's turkey day. From the Montrose Daily Press family to you, happy Thanksgiving. Stay safe. We're closed today, but we'll be back Friday giving you all the latest news around Montrose.

EVENTS: Thanksgiving is just getting started and we've got a list of Thanksgiving day events you can enjoy from your living room. My favorite is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
— Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: Airs nationwide as a television-only event with no audience on NBC and Telemundo on Thursday, Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. ET to 12 p.m. ET, in all time zones.
— National Dog Show: Starting at noon, the 19th annual dog show will also look different. This year's, recorded earlier this month at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, was a little different, with fewer dogs competing and no spectators permitted.
— NFL games: The Texans take on the Lions at 10:30 a.m. and Dallas faces Washington at 2:30 p.m. The NFL moved the Ravens and Steelers game to Sunday.
