HELPING THIS HOLIDAY:
Haven House lost items intended for children's Christmas gifts, as well as what it had been collecting to equip and furnish the daycare it is building when a fire ripped through Olathe Storage. Two other charities, Angels for the Needy and Helping Hands, Open Hearts, also were burned out.
Colorado State Patrol's Montrose office is collecting donated goods with the help of the community to ensure the families those charities serve have what they need.

NO TOILET PAPER, AGAIN. REALLY? Let's call it what it is: Panic buying. Toilet paper and cleaning products are again flying off the shelves because... well, really no good reason other than the surge in virus cases. Here's a story on it. STAYING IN THE BATHROOM... Here's an ode to the commode in celebration of World Toilet Day. Yes, today we celebrate the toilet. Jack Sim, a philanthropist from Singapore, founded the World Toilet Organization Nov. 19, 2001, also declaring the day World Toilet Day to increase public awareness of sanitations systems and how many people in the world still lack basic sanitary facilities.
