Out and about on Election Day, body recovered and saving lives | From the Newsroom

The body of a man found in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison was recovered over the weekend, Montrose County Sheriff Gene Lillard said.

ELECTION DAY: It's Election Day and Americans are heading to the polls to cast their ballots at polling centers in the final day of the 2020 election season. Polls close at 7 p.m. MT, so check out where you can cast your ballot and make a plan. Questions about voting can be directed to the Montrose County clerk's office, 970-249-3362, ext. 3.

As the ballots are counted, the Associated Press said we may not know who our next president is Tuesday night. A factor in slowing things down is the millions of Americans who mailed in their ballots, AP says.

A crash in Gunnison County on Sunday put the total fatalities within the 5C Troop area at 20.
