Capitol chaos:
The scene at the U.S. Capitol looked different Wednesday as police had guns drawn in the House chamber. Other footage from the day's events showed people in Trump gear; with Trump flags, Confederate flags and other banners approaching the Capitol steps.
Local party leaders Kuns and Langston called for finding a degree of common ground.

Show appreciation: This Saturday we celebrate the men and women in blue who protect our communities daily. January 9 is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
Citizens are encouraged to show their support, and there are a number of ways to do it:
• Wear blue clothing in support of law enforcement;
• Send a card of support to your local police department or state agency;
• Share a story about a positive law enforcement experience on social media;
• Ask children to write letters in support of law enforcement;
• Participate in Project Blue Light — proudly display your blue light in support of law enforcement.

Reappointed:
David Dragoo, founder of Mayfly Outdoors, was reappointed by Colorado Sen. Leroy Garcia Jr., Senate president, to continue serving on the Colorado Economic Development Commission, made effective earlier this week.
The commission is an 11-member panel tasked with promoting economic development and employment opportunities in Colorado.

It is amazing to me just how many times things have gone full circle in my lifetime. From fishing tackle, hunting equipment, ammunition and clothing, everything new and improved, eventually comes back to where it started. One such thing is wool.
