It's been a challenging week.

Cassie from the newsroom here, thinking with a heavy heart of the five souls lost to us last Saturday in Club Q. And the three University of Virginia football players senselessly killed a week before. It seems the tragic news alerts never stop. Just this morning, six more were shot dead in a Virginian Walmart.

This isn't the cheerful newsletter I had hoped to send before Thanksgiving, but in the wake of our nation's collective tragedy this month, I ask that you take this week to hold your loved ones tighter and send love to our fellow citizens who continue to mourn these losses.

The Delta Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a vigil this Sunday, 5:30 p.m., for the five lost at Club Q in Colorado Springs.
