More giving

And it's good! The annual Thanksgiving meal wasn't the only show of generosity over the holiday. In just one example of people helping others, the Montrose Seventh-day Adventist Church hosted a food drive, and, with community generosity, stocked up 65 families with groceries.

If you missed that drive, it's not too late to help others be fed. Sharing Ministries Food Bank and Shepherd's Hand also need your help. Cash donations provide true bang for the buck, as the charities can purchase food for lower cost through Food Bank of the Rockies, but food donations are also welcome, as are toiletries/hygiene items, diapers, even pet food.

Find out more at sharingministries.com and shepherdshandmontrose.org.

Also, if you are hungry, do not be afraid to reach out to these charities for help!

Be full, Montrose — Katharhynn, from the Newsroom.
