You've done it Colorado

Colorado has finally done it.

I'm sitting at my computer, after an unexpected 60 degree day, and wishing for snow.

Six years ago, I moved to Miami for an endless summer. And boy, it was one.

Now, I look at the weather app and hope to see that little cloud with snowflake emojis as often as possible.

Because, for many reasons, we need the snowpack. But also because I want to spend as much time in the mountains as possible.

I used to live in bathing suits, and now my snowboard kit has become a uniform, sitting in a go-bag by the door for any chance I have to get out and ride.

For the first time ever, in my life, I dont' want it to be summer. Well played Colorado.

Cheers,
Kylea from the newsroom
