Happy fall, Montrose! And happy Horror Show. That's where I'm heading this afternoon - to the Telluride Horror Show, a three-day festival filled with spooky movies and fun events. I'll be back with pictures and words about the experience next week. Should be a fun time Furry, cuddly companions: Earlier this week, I got to spend some time with residents at The Homestead assisted-living center here in Montrose. Second Chance Humane Society donated several robotic pets to them and other assisted-living centers in town. While they're not real animals, they have surprising health benefits. Montrose football is ranked and having itself a good season. Tomorrow, they head to Colorado Springs to take on Coronado at noon.
