Hello Montrose! Justin from the newsroom here wishing Louis Faussone a recent 99th birthday.

A veteran himself, "Babe" for his big day. From Stephen Woody, who attended: Faussone said he got to know the Japanese while in uniform. "They're just like us, people," said Faussone. "I was very prejudiced, but I got to know them. The big guys make the game and it's the little guys who paid the price."

Below is a photo of Faussone with fellow vets.

A sad story to cover: Katharhynn attended a plea hearing for a now-13-year-old boy who is accused of, two years ago, shooting and killing 62-year-old Karmen Keefauver.

Not everyone has a home for the holidays: This includes several animals. Second Chance Humane Society is asking families and individuals to consider adopting a pet this holiday season. Pets become additional family members, and they need homes, too. Below is Badger, one of the dogs that needs adopting. To look at more pets, visit their website.
