Hello Montrose! Justin from the newsroom here wishing Louis Faussone a recent 99th birthday. A veteran himself, "Babe" for his big day. From Stephen Woody, who attended: Faussone said he got to know the Japanese while in uniform. "They're just like us, people," said Faussone. "I was very prejudiced, but I got to know them. The big guys make the game and it's the little guys who paid the price." Below is a photo of Faussone with fellow vets. A sad story to cover: Katharhynn attended a plea hearing for a now-13-year-old boy who is accused of, two years ago, shooting and killing 62-year-old Karmen Keefauver. Judge Keri Yoder denied a plea agreement at the hearing. Not everyone has a home for the holidays: This includes several animals. Second Chance Humane Society is asking families and individuals to consider adopting a pet this holiday season. Pets become additional family members, and they need homes, too.
