Santa shops local ...
Alright, we've got less than a week to go until Christmas, which if you're anything like me means you've still got a few days to procrastinate shopping for those gifts. Lucky for you, the Montrose Daily Press has you covered. In today's paper, our fall intern, Samantha Go, took a trek around town to find out what locally-made or sold gifts are available. In addition to locally-made candles and glassware, Sam also detailed a local clothing line and jewelry store. If you'd prefer a gift you can eat or drink, there's flavored pretzels, chocolates and confections, as well as teas. These are but a few local options when it comes to wrapping up that holiday shopping. Cruise around town, there's plenty more. If my kids are still trying to figure out something locally-made to get their dear ol' dad — because I'm pretty sure my kids definitely read these newsletters — may I suggest a big box full of stuff from Ray's Jerky and a small box full of something from Abel Reels.
