Health director poised to ask for vaccine and reproductive health program

The Montrose County Public Health director is moving forward on his hopes to establish a vaccine and reproductive health program. Mirza Ahmed, who came aboard a few months ago, has already laid out information about vaccine rates and other stats to the county commissioners during a March presentation. On Wednesday, he is on the Board of County Commissioners' agenda, with a request for permission to establish the program.
