We're steaming into summer, with solstice on June 20 — and there's lots to do. You can get a good taste of what's in store by attending The Forum Wednesday morning, from 8 to 9 at CMU Cascade Hall, on the corner of South Third and Cascade. This week's free talk features guests like Dave Bowman and his Montrose Summer Music Series, and Habitat's annual Rock the Block. Here are the Forum details.

Also, this weekend is the Black Canyon Classics Colorful Colorado Car, Rod and Truck Show! The main event is from about 9 a.m. - 2:30 down at Cerise Park on Saturday. Get your eyeful of beautiful classic vehicles, and enjoy the festivities! Later that night, put on your best 60s outfits and head down to The Star Drive-In for a double feature and more classic cars.

As always, you can check out our printed events calendar, Around Town, for weekly events.

Enjoy yourself, Montrose!
