| Local businesses make Montrose, Montrose
I often have the privilege of writing our weekly business section, and in doing so gotten the opportunity to get to know dozens of the local business owners who make our community what it is.
Almost every time I chat with someone who's starting or expanding their business, they have a great story to share and bring something new to the table.
To name some of my favorites would be both unfair and unexhaustive, so I won't. But, I will add that no matter what you're looking for, whether it's a spot to spend a night out, watch a movie, pick up unique essentials or thrift something totally unique, Montrose probably has the perfect spot for it. And, many of these businesses constantly give back to the community and team up with each other for extra unique offerings.
Now, it's time to honor them with our annual Best of the Valley publication. So, if you have your own favorite local spot, be sure to let us know before nominations close on Sunday.
And, while I cover lots of local businesses, Best of Valley covers a whole lot more. So, if someone in the community is doing something good, your kiddo has a favorite coach, or you want to support a group that's making a difference, check out our categories because chances are there's something for everyone.
