The packed weekend

Saturday was so slow, I ran out of things to do ... Kidding. Saturday was stuffed with events.

The Uncompahgre Pow-Wow was held right here in town, and it was absolutely beautiful. The The Western Slope Native American Resource Center and Ute Indian Museum brought it our way.

Just across the fairgrounds, the Montrose Woman's Club craft bazaar helped me kick off some Christmas shopping with handmade goods and creative wares you're unlikely to find online.

And, in just one of the offerings Saturday evening, the Darling Dames of Colorado brought back Witches Night Out in Cerise Park. The event included the Nightmare Lair set up behind the stage. Reports are that someone screamed like a little girl, even when she anticipated the jump scares ...

It's all a reminder: this community has so much creativity, and, most weekends, plenty to do. Keep an eye on our events calendar so you don't miss out!
