We're less than two months from the General Election and things are beginning to heat up. This past Saturday night the main event at the Club 20 debates took place with CO District 3 on the line. Incumbent Lauren Boebert and challenger Adam Frisch squared off. Image
Here's the story from Colorado Newsline. Several times Frisch reminded Boebert that he is not Nancy Pelosi as Boebert seemingly for every question answered it with a Pelosi barb. Frisch also made it clear if he wins and Democrats remain in control he would not vote for Pelosi for Speaker. Good move on Frisch's part.
Frisch also showed his humor when Boebert asked about climate policies in Aspen but pointed out that there are still big fancy jets flying into the Aspen airport. "Do you mean the airport you fly into for fundraisers?" Frisch quipped.
Then there was the Steak fry exchange;
"Why weren't you at the Club 20 steak fry fundraiser last night?" Frisch
"I don't have time for fancy steak dinners?" Boebert
Are you calling the club 20 steak fry a fancy dinner?" Frisch
"I saw some people that were dressed nice" Boebert
I have no idea who won that debate but it certainly was entertaining.
