When family comes to town
If y'all haven't read, Lauren Boebert is back on the Western Slope, and sat down with us last week. To my surprise, she wasn't visibly strapped– but she quickly reminded us not to make any assumptions.

She was shorter, and a little funnier, in person than I was expecting, and to hear what she had to say, head over to our website.

Of course, Adam Frisch is right on her tail, and we'll catch up with him next week– so stay tuned. Knowing what our congresspeople are doing, and what our candidates are all about, is important, and it's great to have them in the office to tell us about their goals and plans.

On a more fun note, the second I clocked out on Friday I got to spend the weekend sight-seeing with my family from New England. Basically, trying to rub in the fact that I live here and, just maybe, convince my little sister to move. Didn't happen.

We hit Jimmers BBQ in Montrose, checked out the wildfowers in CB, swam in Ridgway Reservoir and climbed the via ferrata in Ouray – which I still can't believe is free. I didn't snag any pictures with Lauren, so here's some of the gorge.

Cheers for now,
