So many new friends
One of my favorite things about working this job is the people I get to meet– all the local business owners, guides, etc. that make the community what it is.

But what's even better is when those people have animals. I love going to local shops, restaurants and outfitters to chat with the owners about what's cool and new, but it really makes my day when their furry friends are there too.

This week, I was pleasantly surprised to meet Bridger the very friendly staff dog at Great Outdoors Company, and just a few minutes ago I was leaving an interview at Spring Creek Yoga when I was greeted by a very friendly cat that would not let me leave without petting her.

About 15 minutes later, she followed me all the way to my car. Montrose has some great shop dogs and cats I've gotten to meet over the last year, and one of these days we'll have to get a business story together so y'all can meet them too, and maybe visit their humans' businesses.

Cheers,
Kylea
