Happy holiday weekend
It's a little too late to wish a happy Thanksgiving, but I hope everyone had a good one.

Some of you may be celebrating Black Friday too, and hopefully Small Business Saturday. If you missed it, we rounded up all the local outdoor shops that are running great deals this week and all winter, and in Tuesday's business section we took a look at how the city is hoping to get people downtown (and all over Montrose) this weekend to shop local.

Montrose bucks will go on sale tomorrow morning, and you can basically get $60 for $50 up to $480. They're valid at local businesses and service establishments all over town, and if you have a few bucks leftover from patronizing the small stores you can spend the last few dollars hanging at City Market or Walmart.

Happy late turkey day— and happy local shopping!
Cheers,
Kylea
