Ready for more snow? Maybe ...
It's beautiful, early in the morning, gazed upon from the warmth of your window — snow, blanketing the landscape in a dreamlike shimmer of white. Deeply immersed in your morning cup of coffee, any notion of the frigid temperatures or awaiting inconveniences are still far off. Besides, the dogs — at least one of them, kind of — seem to love it. Less magical is thawing the block of ice in your driveway that use to be your car. Or navigating the roadway-turned-luge. Get ready. The National Weather Service is reporting more snow throughout this week. There's a 30% chance beginning tonight, with that percentage increasing to 70% Wednesday, with more snow possible this weekend. Stay warm. Have fun. Be safe. And take advantage of this winter weather to cozy up with a good read. Here's one from Kylea that we published this week detailing how Nucla came to be — how "[d]iscontent immigrants, laborers, artists, doctors, men and women sought refuge through cooperation and ultimately founded Nucla as an agrarian utopia."
