It's the best season I never remember Not spring, though I do appreciate temperatures getting into the 50s. It's Girl Scout Cookie season, and last weekend I pulled a somewhat dangerous and potentially illegal u-turn in Grand Junction when I saw a group of the world's best cookie sellers standing on the side of the road. I absolutely stocked up; I'm talking Thin Mints, S'mores, Adventurefuls, the works. They're gone now. Luckily for me, there's plenty of spots in Montrose where you can also grab a box of your favorites, and where I can grab a few more boxes of mine. Both City Market locations in Montrose, as well as places like Walmart and Murdoch's, will have scouts out front selling cookies this season. For a complete list, check out the cookie locator at https://www.girlscouts.org/en/cookies/how-to-buy-cookies/cookie-finder-results.html?#81401. You're welcome. Cheers, Kylea from the newsroom P.S. If you haven't bought tickets yet for 5 Point On The Road, we still have plenty left! There was a little snag with Eventbrite, so if you tried to buy tickets this morning it may have said "Sold Out," but it's all good to go. The event starts at 7 p.m. Saturday, with doors opening at 6:30 and cool raffle prizes including hiking poles, an Igloo cooler and a cross country ski rental from our sponsors at 970 Sports Rewind.
