Local GOP schism offers microcosm of bigger picture ...

For a while now, there's been a schism within the Montrose County Republican Party. It's most visible form has been the public critique of a former party chairman of the current party chairman. 

In today's Montrose Daily Press we explore the local, internal GOP discussion — which basically involves how one feels about the party chairman also running for a county commission seat in the primary — and how that local discussion reflects a larger state-level conversation going on within the Republican Party.
