So ... how do you like them apples?

I would blame it on Monday, but alas! It was a Friday. I guess I was so entranced with the lovely photo from reader Beth Gordon as I turned over a memory about Palisade peaches that I had peach on the brain. "Just peachy," I titled it, and then went on to describe a bough laden with peaches.

Well. What can I say? They were apples! Very, very obviously apples! The apple-i-est apples you could imagine. Oof. If you were wondering who the dolt was ... sigh. It's me. We plan to rerun the photo, with the correct identification. And next up, I'll be working on my shapes!
