I don't need new snowboard gear

It's been almost exactly two months since I've been on a snowboard.

A month and 28 days, specifically, but who's counting?

In my head this means it's almost winter again, and I don't want anyone to correct me on that. I know it isn't. But, it is a good time to stock up on winter gear and ski passes while it's cheap(er).

I plan on re-upping my Powderhorn pass once again, and I was delighted to realize ski pass holders can get a $120 discount on a bike park pass for the rest of the season, which runs until late September.

I also received an email from Weston, a Colorado-based ski, board and backcountry company, about a moving sale. The company is getting rid of its showroom in favor of bringing more gear around the state in a mobile unit, and is having a big sale online July 28 to clean it out. Deals will be up to 80% off skis, boards, gear and accessories, so it's worth a look if you know you need something heading into next season.

Cheers,
