PROGRESS AT WILSON FIELD: Progress continued on the Olathe Middle and High School track and field project with the addition of bleachers and the press box last week. The $3.2 million project updates the 49-year-old facility that was previously relocated from Lions Park.

THE 22 RUN: On the morning of Memorial Day, the American Legion Riders of Post 73 in Montrose rode a "22 run" to promote awareness of the 22 veteran suicides per day. The veterans rode from Delta to Montrose, which is a distance of 22 miles. They also honored veterans at Valley Lawn Cemetery.

GIVING BACK: Along with many other businesses, The Glass Doctor of Montrose saw work plunge in the wake of the COVID-19 declared pandemic. The business is giving back to those in need as well as finding new ways to give hours to employees.

RACE TO THE FINISH: With the local La Zona Colona coffee house closed, several Log Hill residents resort to self-help coffee, watching the COVID-19 race to the finish, as they say. That's John W. Nelson on the right, who submitted this photo.
