LET'S GO TO THE MOVIES: Are you tired of being cooped up with nothing to do? Well The Star Drive-In is bringing some fun back as they set to reopen on Friday. After weeks of preparation and obtaining approval from the county, the staff is excited to welcome the community back.
The drive-in's feature this weekend is Sonic the Hedgehog. The ticket office and concessions open at 7 p.m. and the showings will start around 8:30 p.m.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE: Do you know someone who made a difference? Region 10's Area Agency on AgingRegion 10's Area Agency on Aging, as well as a number of community partners, are encouraging article submissions from the public that showcase the accomplishments of elders who have "made their mark." Region 10 is hoping to have submissions highlighting each decade from the 1930s up to 2020.

BOW WOW FILM FESTIVAL SET FOR MAY 8-15: Second Chance Humane Society announced on Tuesday it is hosting the 5th annual Bow Wow Film Festival from May 8 through May 15. The festival is in its fifth year, but this season, the festival will be virtual, allowing those interested to watch from the comfort and safety of their own home.
