THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA)
turns 30 this year. The ADA is now considered one of the most pivotal pieces of legislation passed for people with disabilities. President George H.W. Bush signed the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) into law on July 26, 1990.
Locally, the ADA has allowed for expanded independence and better quality of life for people with disabilities.

NATIONAL MILK CHOCOLATE DAY falls on July 28 this year. While dark chocolate is typically the healthier choice, milk chocolate is used in a multitude of recipes. Here are some ways to celebrate the holiday.

THE GREAT AMERICAN OUTDOORS ACT: Elected leaders and conservation groups alike are hailing the passage of the Great American Outdoors Act, which establishes permanent funding for the Land and Water Conservation Fund, as well as funnels money into public lands and national parks for their sprawling maintenance backlogs.
