LOOK OUT FOR MUDSLIDES: Mountains surrounding Montrose are now drying out after a "potent" storm lashed the region over the weekend and on Monday.
Close to two dozen people on foot near Bridal Veil Pass had to hike out, and the San Miguel County Sheriff's Office even sent out a drone to check for a person who was reported as climbing the Via Ferrata when Monday's storm hit.

THE 'TIGER KING' zoo was raided by investigators in search of human remains a couple weeks ago after two cadaver dogs alerted their handlers of potential human remains at the site. So on this International Tiger Day, catch up on the latest in the Exotic Animal Park story.

REVITALIZATION is coming to alleyway of Block 93 in Montrose.
Inspired by alleyways in Fort Collins, the ideas for the Block 93 Project involve colored pavement, new or preserved murals, added lighting and seating, bike racks and other amenities designed to attract walking traffic to the area.

A LITTLE HUMOR featured in today's newspaper.
When I saw this image, it reminded me of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." Fall harvest festivals are a fun beginning to the holiday season with family. I love going through corn mazes and searching through a field to pick the perfect pumpkin, but will that change with COVID-19?
There is a lot of uncertainty as to what this fall will look like, but I really hope we can all continue our holiday traditions.
