Pandemic sparks conversation on importance of high school sports

Piece of mind: For some businesses during the pandemic, keeping the lights on was the only goal. By keeping them on, navigating the effects from the pandemic was still plausible, even if it was more difficult.
It's why loans and grants have come to the forefront, lending small businesses a semblance of life support as financial returns slowly (and in some cases, drastically) waned in certain industries, such as hospitality.

Police blotter:
Dec. 28
0824 Hours Deputy responded to a livestock problem in the 2500 Block 5500 Road.
0854 Hours Deputy was dispatched to a livestock problem in the 12700 Block 5875 Road.
1111 Hours Deputy was dispatched to a stray dog in the 62800 Block Spring Creek Road.
1644 Hours Deputy responded to a stray dog at Kinikin and South Canal Road.
Dec. 29
0123 Hours Deputy, while on patrol, located a large herd of cattle in the roadway at 6530 Road and Kourtney Lane. The cattle were placed in a pasture.
0935 Hours Deputy, while on patrol, located a cow in the roadway in the 57700 Block Blossom Road. The cow was placed in a pasture.
1218 Hours Deputy was dispatched to a stray dog in the 11500 Block 6325 Road.
