I spent most of Saturday watching the Colorado State wrestling championships.

Dmarian Lopez had me on the edge of my seat while he held a 2-1 lead over his opponent Matthew Moore from Mesa Ridge in the 3rd round.

After reading Mike Robuck's story in yesterday's Montrose Daily Press, I understood his strategy better.

Here's a quote from the story by Lopez.

"I thought he was going to come out firing," Lopez said. "He had a little thing where he tried to put me into the scorer's table, and he was doing that to all the other kids, but I'm not a pushover. I'm not like these other kids. I'm not going to let him push me."

Here's the story.

Congratulations Dmarian! You did us proud!
