Bob DeJulio. In today's edition, Katharhynn Heidelberg writes a fitting tribute for long time Montrose resident and artist Bob DeJulio. Getting to know Bob over the years was such a pleasure. He was grace in motion and if I had to describe him in one word, it would be 'kind'. His works were/are displayed all over town. He was a terrific artist. Here is Katharhynn's story for Bob.
The State Wrestling Championships began yesterday.
Montrose sent eight members of their team while Olathe sent two on the boys side and six for the girls team. For Montrose those who won their first match yesterday were; Aiden Gonzales (106), James Schaefer (144), Daniel Alcazar (150), Quinn Brown (157), Raul Rascon (215) and Dmarian Lopez (285). For Olathe boys Trevor Piatt (106) advanced while Aby England (155) and Lynessia Duran (235) won their first round match for the lady Pirates.
