Sucker punched!

As I watched the Nuggets whip up on the Minnesota Timberwolves Tuesday night- it was over by the end of the 1st quarter- final score of 146-112, I listened in on the State of the Union.

President Biden was feeling it. The moniker from former President Trump of 'Sleepy Joe' was shedded and as the night wore on 'Joltin' Joe' emerged.

At times it felt like he was leading with his chin but it was a ploy to bait his adversaries. "Rope a Dope Joe" got the far right republicans to bite. And actually had the whole of Congress standing and cheering for Social Security and Medicare entitlements.

When he threw out there that some Republicans want to sunset Social Security and Medicare. The vocal reaction from the republicans was astounding.

"Look it up" he would say when his adversaries began to jeer him and as they grew louder he countered, "So we agree?" Asking if the entitlements were off the table when it comes to spending cuts. The boo's turned to cheers and amazingly a seemingly weak President looked strong. It was amazing.

Nice trade by the Nuggets today. I think Thomas Bryant is the right piece to make the Nuggets the favorite to win their first NBA title.
