'People were thinking that Montrose was on fire': In the shadow of the Black Canyon fire, local business are sticking together— and say there's still plenty of adventure to be had When the flames started spreading in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park last month, Ed LeViness' phone at his business, Ed's Fly Shop, started ringing off the hook. The company hosts just a handful of campout events in adventure motorcycling destinations around the country each year, but Events and Marketing Specialist Wade Olsen said it's the company's third time holding one on the Western Slope.
