A sneak peek at tomorrow's print edition …

In tomorrow's print edition of the Montrose Daily Press, you can read about two new murals in downtown Montrose — with support from the city's Development and Revitalization Team's Mural Grant Program; and also about two Olathe families that are picking up the pieces after a fire late last week destroyed their homes; as well as about the Montrose Red Hawks opening football game of the season, in which they beat Durango 35-14.

Pedal power: With a $25,000 grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, the Rec District's new Adaptive Biking Program is on a roll

Not much beats a joyride on two (or more) wheels down by the river and the feeling of a cool breeze through the holes of a bike helmet.

And, with a new specialized cycle fleet, the Montrose Rec District is making sure this experience is accessible to everyone in the community with monthly group rides for all abilities.

The Adaptive Biking Program, according to MRD's Adaptive and Inclusion Program Leader Danielle Musser, had its first two rides last month and will keep running them "from now until the end of time."
