Killer Company's

My blog will allow everyone to know what all the body care companies are doing to us. What I mean by this is that you can learn what is in your body care products and what it does to your body. Is the cheap price or status of having these things worth the risk of ruining your health. I know a product line that does not carry any of the harmful or hazardous ingredients if you are interested comment and I'll email you more information.

Good afternoon! It's Josue with today's newsletter, not surprised to see light snow showers this morning.

Usually snowfall arrives late October or sometime in November on this side of the mountain (most years), but you never know with Colorado — it could be snowing all morning then feel like a summer day in the afternoon and early evening. You know what I'm talking about.

Hard not to appreciate that range though, right?

If you're traveling these next few days, travel safe.

Let's get into the latest in Montrose.

Image

Latest on Colorado Outdoors: The Flex Buildings — both north and south — within Colorado Outdoors are nearing completion for the building's core and shell.

The inside of each building is expected to be completed third-quarter 2021 to first-quarter 2022. Tenants (businesses) are expected to start moving in first fiscal quarter of 2022. One of those is expected to be a restaurant.

There's plenty of updates to come regarding the overall project, which you can learn more about here. You can also read previous updates, like the status of the planned hotel and Colorado Yurt's new facility.

Image

Applications open: Montrose County School District opened its application process to become a member of one of two subcommittees, which are tasked with brainstorming new mascots for Montrose High School and Centennial Middle School.

You can apply here. Applications are open until Oct. 25 and you can read more about the process in this story from staff writer Anna Lynn Winfrey.

Mo-Town Knows: Episode 4 of Mo-Town Knows airs tonight at 6 p.m. with Anna Lynn set to make her hosting debut.

She'll be joined by MCSD reps Jim Pavlich, executive director of operations; Phillip Bailey, director of property services; and Penny Harris, the early childhood education director.

The group will talk about MCSD's new master plan outlining new projects and deferred maintenance for local schools.

You can tune in on our website, Youtube, NABUR and Facebook.

You can watch any of the first three episodes here.

Quick hits on local sports:

— MHS football (7-0) plays at Vista Ridge (5-1) at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday looking to keep its undefeated season alive.

— MHS volleyball (13-3), coming off a huge win against Fruita, will play at Coal Ridge (5-8) tomorrow aiming to push their winning steak to four.

— MHS boys soccer (6-7) lost its third straight game on Tuesday, losing to Glenwood Springs. The Indians will try to turn it around today at Grand Junction Central (6-6).

— OHS volleyball (9-4) is hosting its Pink Out game tonight at OHS with proceeds set to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness. Game times are 4, 5 and 6 p.m. If you have time, go out and support the Pirates and the cause.

Jessi_Lynn
Alright everyone my names is Jessi I'm only 16yrs old, but don't under estamate me I know a lot about the subjects that matter to me. I like kids, don't have any right now though. I don't want kids until I think I can handle it I want to be able to live my life and have fun, even make stupid mistakes because that is what these years are for. I'm fun, easy to get along with, funny at times yet I also know when to be serious, I like to take risks live on the edge. I love roller coasters, sky diving, bungy jumping, I guess you could call me a thrill seeker. I just try to live my life to the fullest.
