Ending the school year on a high note We haven't had much sports content lately, likely because the school year is over, but today's front page was a bright one. It's awesome to pick up the local paper to see high school athletes on the cover absolutely crushing it, like we saw this week. The Montrose High School Track team broke multiple school records this year, but they're not the only awesome young people we will be featuring in the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for a story about some high-achieving young rodeo riders, which Rhiannon also has in the hopper. And speaking of our youngest residents, check below the fold on today's paper to see how a nonprofit is hoping to find solutions to the childcare shortage in Montrose County- and how you can get involved.
