Oh, be careful where you go There's never a bad time for a reminder to take due caution when you head outdoors. Today's reminder actually arises from good news — a missing camper being found safe after four days missing in the Lone Cone area outside of Norwood. The camper was part of a group on an outing arranged by Animas Valley Institute that appears to have been spiritual/communing with nature. The clients all went off separately to fast and connect with the great outdoors, according to how the San Miguel County sheriff explained it. The camper unfortunately became separated from her tent and got lost. When she did not leave the arranged-for signal at the daily rendezvous site Aug. 14, members of her group searched, located her tent, and called authorities. The woman ultimately emerged from the forest on Sunday: Alive, unharmed. Thank goodness. People enjoy the outdoors all of the time. Sometimes, things happen. You can help yourself and the agencies and volunteers who will look for you should the worst occur, though, by obtaining a Colorado Search and Rescue Card. If you have one, it increases the chances of the county in which you are lost receiving some cost-reimbursement through a state fund. Do yourself a solid and get one today. ![Image](https://media.secondstreetapp.com/6492344) (Part of the search team.
