Happy Thursday friends,

It's Memorial Day weekend! As we honor the brave individuals who have served our country, let's also celebrate the vibrant community events happening around Montrose.

And Montrose is busy this weekend! We've got the massive Naturita-based PlanetV EDM/Arts festival, a free tour of Ancient Eagle Rock Shelter, an outdoor summer fest, and of course, Memorial Day services and celebrations.

Do you have events to share? I encourage you to add events around town by visiting our calendar page and clicking the "Add Event" button on the top left.

You can email me directly at cassiek@montrosepress.com at any time.

Wishing you a safe Memorial Day weekend,

Cassie

In case you missed it, the city's Public Works department held an expo at Cerise park this afternoon. It was fun watching kids having a blast around the park and learning about the large vehicles we see around town. The kiddos had a blast riding the equipment with staff! If you heard some loud honking coming from Cerise Park this afternoon, now you know.
