Wolves, wolverines and a wookiee ...

First up, we've got wolves. Livestock producers, wildlife advocates and citizens weighed in this week, as the Colorado Wildlife Commission considered whether "nighttime aids" such as night-vision equipment and thermal imaging could be used to prevent wolf depredation. Additionally, Rep. Lauren Boebert — currently still representing CD3, as she runs for the CD4 seat — also jumped into the wolf conversation, getting a bill passed in the House that aims to delist the gray wolf from the federal endangered species list. Read about that one here.

Next, we've got wolverines. They're kinda cute, but not too cuddly. And they're coming back to Colorado, as state lawmakers move to reintroduce the animal to the state. You can catch up on this wolverine news here
