Preschool Story Time Yoga, ages 2-5, kindergarteners welcome (10:30-11 a.m.). $10/child. Children's Yoga, Kindergarten - 6th grade (1 - 4 p.m.). $20/child. Register at youngheartyogis.com
- Mom's Day Out Second Saturday–Second Saturday with Mauve and San Juan Candle Company. Features book signing and poetry reading with Madison Gill.
Sunday - Cold Stone Creamery: Free Like-It Size Cup, in store only. Mom must be present.
- Mama Needs a Beer: Pomona Brewing offers free pint or mimosa. Serving a Mother's Day Brunch menu in the kitchen 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Mother's Day Brunch @ Elk Mountain Resort, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. All-you-can-eat brunch buffet, with drink bar. Live music from Rusty & Stephen from Neon Sky. Tickets: $30/Moms, $35/Adults, $15/Children.
The carnival is in town! The Montrose Lions Carnival opened yesterday at the Montrose County Fairgrounds and is here until Sunday. Unlimited rides for $30 a day. Purchase tickets at Murdoch's Farm and Ranch Supply, Coffee Trader, Abel's Ace Hardware and Enstrom.
